Engineering Intern

We seek a motivated and dynamic intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, constructing and testing hardware. Strong competency with CAD (preferably Solidworks) is required. This experience will provide hands-on opportunities to explore, design, and develop a solution that will enhance the operations of melon and cucurbit producers.

Duration: XXXX

Location: Pantheon Business and Innovation Theatre, Vincennes, Indiana

Compensation: $20/hour and potential housing

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Deliverables

* End of summer project presentation to Pantheon leadership and Pantheon Ag Tech Committee
 * Development and testing of robotic hardware components

Requirements

* Current enrollment in ABE, mechanical engineering, or a similar engineering program
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Familiarity with Python
* Agricultural background preferred
