About The Pantheon

The Pantheon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a regional hub for entrepreneurship and innovation. Our mission is to spark innovation and fuel entrepreneurship by inspiring, growing, and supporting new and existing businesses in Knox County. Housed in a beautifully restored 1920stheatre, The Pantheon offers coworking spaces, private offices, and event venues designed to foster collaboration and economic growth. We partner with Indiana stakeholders to attract high-growth startups and energize our local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Position Summary

The Executive Director will serve as the visionary leader responsible for executing The Pantheon’s strategic plan and driving long-term growth. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional business acumen, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, corporate partners, and community leaders. The Executive Director will lead efforts to position The Pantheon as a premier innovation center.

Key Responsibilities

·       Strategic Leadership: Implement and evolve the organization’s strategic plan, aligning operations with measurable goals and organizational mission.

·       Entrepreneurial Enablement: Nurture and build the entrepreneurial ecosystem that delivers long term economic growth.

·       Community Engagement: Advocate as the face of The Pantheon, fostering relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, educational institutions, and government agencies.

·       Program Development: Engage the next generation of founders and expand initiatives such as pitch competitions, entrepreneurial education programs, and innovation challenges.

·       Partnership Building: Strengthen collaborations with Vincennes University, Knox County Indiana Economic Development, Knox County Chamber of Commerce, Purdue University, AgriNovus Indiana, Community schools, and other strategic partners to attract and enable high-growth startups.

·       Corporate Stakeholders- Develop and establish relationships with key business leaders locally and regionally to create synergistic opportunities.

·       Culture of Leadership: Inspire and manage staff,ensuring operational excellence and a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

·       Proven entrepreneurial experience or leadership in a high-growth business environment.

·       Strong business acumen with expertise in strategic planning and operational execution.

·       Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.

·       Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships.

·       Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and nonprofit management desired.

·       Passion for community development and economic revitalization.
